Snap IT named an MSP to Watch on the 2025 MSP 501

Snap IT named an MSP to Watch on the 2025 MSP 501 award badge

We’re delighted to share that Snap IT has been named to the 2025 MSPs to Watch list by Channel Futures, the organisation behind the MSP 501 — the longest-running and most widely recognised ranking of managed service providers in the world. And this year means even more: it’s the second year running we’ve earned a place, after first making the list in 2024.

It’s recognition we don’t take lightly. The MSP 501 and its companion lists are decided on hard data rather than opinion, so to be named two years in a row — as a provider with the performance and trajectory to watch — is a genuine endorsement of the way we run our business and of the team that makes it work. Back-to-back recognition tells us this isn’t a one-off; it’s a consistent standard we’re holding ourselves to.

About the MSP 501 and Channel Futures

Each year, Channel Futures invites managed service providers from across the globe to submit their operational and financial data for independent assessment. Entries are scored against a detailed methodology that looks well beyond headline revenue, weighing factors such as recurring revenue, profitability, growth and overall operational health.

The result is the MSP 501: a list regarded throughout the industry as the definitive benchmark for the strongest, best-run managed service providers worldwide.

What “MSP to Watch” recognises

Alongside the main 501, Channel Futures publishes its MSPs to Watch list — reserved for smaller providers that fall below the revenue threshold to qualify for the 501, yet stand out for their potential and momentum. To be included, a company must:

  • generate the majority of its revenue from managed services rather than one-off project work;
  • perform strongly on recurring revenue as a proportion of its total income; and
  • demonstrate compelling growth forecasts for the year ahead.

In short, it identifies the providers Channel Futures expects to break into the full MSP 501 in the years to come. That’s the company we’re proud to keep, and the direction we’re firmly set on.

What this means for our clients

Recognition is welcome, but it only matters because of what sits behind it. The very measures that earned our place on the list — recurring, well-run services and sustainable growth — are what allow us to keep investing in the things our clients rely on every day:

  • a responsive, UK-based helpdesk that genuinely understands your environment;
  • proactive security and monitoring that prevents problems rather than simply reacting to them; and
  • the reassurance of partnering with a stable, growing provider built for the long term.

To every client who trusts us with their IT and security: thank you. This recognition is, above all, a reflection of that trust.

“Being named an MSP to Watch two years running is real credit to the whole team. We’ve always concentrated on doing the fundamentals exceptionally well for our clients, and to see that acknowledged on a list of this standing — not once, but back-to-back — means a great deal.” — Alex Harvey, CEO & Founder at Snap IT

Looking ahead to 2026

Two years on the list is something we’re proud of — but we’re every bit as focused on what comes next. Our sights are firmly set on 2026: keeping up the momentum, continuing to grow our recurring services, and pushing towards a place on the full MSP 501 itself. Our thanks go to Channel Futures for the recognition, and to our clients and team for making it possible.
